Research & Document Intelligence — What's Included

Document preparation for records, correspondence and research — turned into a working record you can act on.

This page sets out exactly what this service produces and where it stops. It's deliberately specific — you should know before you commit, not after.

What you receive

A dated chronology. Every event tied to the document that evidences it, with a source reference you can follow back.

An indexed file. Every document numbered and cross-referenced, so anything can be found by date, party, subject or reference.

A written summary of what the record shows. Plain language, organized by theme or by timeline, whichever serves your purpose.

Facts checked against your source material. Assertions traced back to the document they came from.

Gaps and contradictions flagged. Where the record disagrees with itself, or where something referenced isn't present, you're told.

Where the work stops

The record is reported as it is. What it means for your position, and what to do next,            is yours to decide — with your own professional advisers where the matter calls for them.

ADH  reports

Page 4 says March 12; page 9 says March 21

Exhibit C is referenced but not attached

The figures in this schedule don't sum to the stated total

This name appears in three different spellings

Two accounts of the same meeting differ

ADH  does not say

Which date is correct

Whether Exhibit C matters

What the figure should be

Which spelling is right

Which account to believe

The left column is what the documents say about themselves — observable, checkable, no judgment required.                                                                                                                The right column needs someone qualified in your subject. ADH does the first and tells you plainly when you've reached the second.

Optional Consistency Check

Priced separately, by volume.

While preparing your material, Anna notes internal inconsistencies she observes: dates that disagree, references to missing exhibits, figures that don't reconcile, terms used inconsistently. You receive a list of observations.

You decide what, if anything, to do. Nothing is changed without your written instruction, and you'll be asked to record that instruction before any change is made.

This is not a review of accuracy, sufficiency or legal effect, and not a guarantee that everything has been found.

If the work concerns a court or regulator

ADH is not a law firm. It does not give legal advice, determine legal rights, recommend strategy, or prepare pleadings or legal filings. Documents are prepared to the format you specify; what they say, whether they are correct, and whether to file them are yours and your counsel's.

Some courts require disclosure when AI-assisted tools have been used in preparing a document. ADH uses such tools, with your consent, as set out in the engagement agreement. Checking your court's requirements is your responsibility, and worth doing early.

How AI is used

Research, analysis and drafting are AI-assisted. Output is reviewed by a person and factual assertions are checked against the source material you supply.

These tools can produce incomplete or inaccurate results. No deliverable is warranted error-free, and you review everything before you use it. If specific material must not be processed using such tools, say so in writing before work begins.
